In a small zoo, not far away, where the thick gray clouds envelop the land in pain and misery, where the darkness and evil have contaminated the earth. There lives a beast, a foul, dangerous beast. A psychotic, crushing, cruel, massive, life-threatening monster. This beast was captured and sent to this lonely zoo separated from civilization. It was the reason for the deaths of millions of innocent souls. It was a blood-sucking parasite on the neck of humanity. No one has dared to see the monster, no man, no woman, nobody except me.
The gates of the zoo are bent and twisted and seem to call all who are innocent. As I trudged through the worn, rusted gates, they make an ominous shriek, that makes me shiver with fear.
A cold wind blows, carrying a dark evil force, I find my courage and tiptoe silently to the monster's lair. I smell the horrid, repulsive stench of the animal’s breath. A trail of thick, scarlet blood leads to the creature and reminds me of the innocent victims that were slaughtered to prevent the savage creature from harming planet earth. I hear the eerie noise of the rain pounding heavily on the thin feeble roof of the building.
I feel sweat trickling down my forehead and hear my heart beating rapidly. I slowly approach the gates to the cell of the beast. I pull out of my pocket, a small ring of keys. I find the shiny silver one and with trembling fingers, I unlock the gate. The cell is dark and lifeless. There are cobwebs in the corners and dust clinging to the walls. The ground is cold, wet and covered with broken bones.
I suddenly spot the most horrifying creature in the universe. It has ten humongous muscular legs, each with razor-sharp claws about the size of a trash can lid. It has a massive body size of a school bus coated with thick tough armor. It has a huge tail with a large mace at the end. Its head has three long spikes shoot at the top like a bullet erupting from a pistol. On its face, it has tiny black beady eyes that stare at you, reminding you of dark tunnels. Its jaw has a large mandible which it uses to kill its prey and shred even the toughest of meat.
Luckily for me, it’s sleeping. I calmly take out my camera from my back pocket and take a quick photo. Smiling at myself I turn around and start walking back.
Then I hear a growling sound, the monster has arisen. I run away in panic but the beast gains on me. I realize that this is the end of my life, I wish I never came to this zoo, I wish that the creature never existed. It approaches me and sinks its sharp mandible into my flesh. I fall to the floor limp and breathe my last.
The beast is on the loose and I am the one to blame. So if you see large trees that have fallen on the ground or the scarlet blood if the monsters meal or hear heavy thumps in the middle of the night, it's my fault. I have released the monster that won't think twice about killing you. I have released the creature that threatens the entire world.
Speaking of me, I am not a human anymore, I am not solid. I am more of a spirit, a spirit who moves with the wind and warns mankind of the beast that will end the human race.
